Today's lunchbox Feb 18th, 2013

- tofu hamburg steak (豆腐ハンバーグ)
- cucumber and broccoli pickles make in brine and fermented rice bran (ぬか漬け)
- kidney beans and corn dressed with sesame sauce

- steamed with mixed grains (雑穀米)

I made tofu hamburg steak after a long time. I have forgotten this menu in fact. It was good to remember this menu because I like it. Besides, tofu hamburg steak is very healthy. FYI, I had it with ponzu (ポン酢) which is a kind of Japanese sauce made primarily with soy sauce and citrus juice. It was good. Today's tofu hamburg is made of tofu, ground chicken, shiitake mushroom, ginger and carrot.

Today's lunch box Jan 8, 2013

I will start to post the photo of today's lunch from this year. I have taken a photo of daily lunch box until now, but they were just in my smart phone photo gallery. From this year, I will post the photo of my lunch as a record.

Today's lunch box

ginger-flavored slices of fried pork(buta no syogayaki -->豚の生姜焼き)
boiled kidney beans and fish sausages dressed in a sesame sauce(ingenmame to chikuwa no
gomaae --> インゲン豆と竹輪の胡麻和え)
boiled egg(yude tamago --> ゆで卵)
steamed unpolished rice or cereals with pickled Japanese plums(zakkokumai to umeboshi --> 雑穀米と梅干し)

This is my typical menu for my lunch box. These are very easy to cook and it takes about 30 minutes to make. It is the best menu in a busy morning.

Facebook

My friend is learning English in UK now. He invited me to the Facebook yesterday. I've already had my account on the Facebook, but I have hardly accessed it recently. So I am honestly surprised at being invited from him. His photo on his top page is taken at the Stonehenge. I just wanted to go there soon. A new staff started working at my department of my company from August. I always have an uneasy felling when the balance of human relation changes. But time is a cure in such case. At least, I have a room to post my comment to my friend's Facebook at working time today. Just a little more time will completely treat my anxiety feeling.

Long time no update!

It has passed three years since I posted last time! I just say a lot of things happened for three years. Now I became a sales representative in my company, while I was a customer support before. Current job is interesting, but I am getting busier than before. I email to our business partner almost every day. It is sometimes just a request for the quote, it is sometimes negotiation shouldered a great responsibility with our partner or prospective partner. The higher the responsibility shoulder on me, the bigger I can get a sense of fulfillment. High risk, high return. Now I go to the English conversation school. I finally got the schooling fee for 40 lessons from my company after negotiating. I feel justify to get it because I need more English skills to contact to our business partner. I want to communicate with many people in the world. If I could speak English more fluently and listen English without difficulty, I could communicate with many times people in the globe. At the end of July, I went to LA for the business trip. Our business partner is kind since our relationship is crucial for our business. However someone takes none-too-friendly attitude for person who can not speak English fluently. Whenever I come across such thing, I swear that I won't help foreigner in Japan. If they ask me something in English, I will say "Ask me in Japanese." On the second thought, I found that it was just the same attitude which I came across in LA. After a while, I rethink my thought and I will help foreigners in Japan. We should help each other when we are in trouble. One of the teachers of the English conversation school said that you can be able to listen without difficulty and speak something I want to speak after you learn English 3 hours a day for 3 years. I agree with him. He also said that he can listen Japanese TV show without difficulty now after his days of learning Japanese 3 hours a day for 3years. He did an hour for listening, an hour for writing and an hour for speaking per day. He has good patience, but he live in Japan. The environment around him is filled with Japanese. In that way, I need much patience because I live in Japan. However it's simple. All I have to do are learning English an hour for listening, an hour for writing and an hour for speaking per day. Well, it is hard to do it, after all. But I will do it as much as I can. Especially I will do more listening lesson. I need the skill to understand English in natural speed. Regarding writing, I might achieve my quota by making emails to our business partner almost everyday. But blogging is also nice for my writing skill. Besides, it satisfy myself. I should post more often.
