iPod broken

My iPod seems to be broken. Yesterday morning, I listened to the iPod but yesterday night on my way home I can't listen to the iPod. The song list or album title displayed on the iPod but when I select a certain song and play it it returned the upper directory. I remember, when I connect iPod to my PC with USB the PC suddenly shut down yesterday. That might be implicated as cause of this failure. Anyway, this situation is so inconvemient that I will go Apple store in Ginza today's evening. I hope Apple sotre's staff can recover my iPod without reset the iPod. It is very trouble to copy songs again because songs are in different places, office or my home etc.
