24

I watched the dorama series "24" on DVD . This series have 3 series. I already have watched series 1 and 2, and watched series 3 today. "24" is so exiting that it is so hard to stop watching it. I memorize that it took about 3~4 days to watch them up. I just rent 3 volume of 12 so as not to be shortage of sleep. By the way, my ringtone of my cell-phone is the sound of the extention in the CTU. I like it. However it is a little problem as there are many people whose cell-phone's ringtone is the same.

pool and fireworks

I went to the Rainbow pool in Showa Kinen Park with my sister, nephew and my boyfriend today. From PM 2:00 the ticket become cheaper as a sunset ticket, so we went there PM 2:00. The pool has a flow pool, slider pool, surf pool and so on. We floated on the tube in the pool. It was so nice. I didn't get a tan because it was cloudy today. After playing in the pool, we move to the fireworks show at the park. We could see 5,000 great fireworks in the night sky sitting on the grass. I like fireworks very much. I love the big one specially. It is usually exploded in the end of the show. The kinds of fireworks are inscreaing year by year. We could see star-shaped one, Mickey Mouse-shaped one, peace mark-shaped one this year. Fireworks have a lot of color variation recently. White, orange, red, pink, green, blue, purple and so on. I didn't know how many people came to the show but it took about 3 hours to arrive at the nearest station because of great crowd.

square-shaped watermelon

I found a square-shaped watermelon at the supermarket near my house today. I have seen it for the first time. I don't know why it is square-shaped but it is convenient for you to store in the refrigerator. The price was about $80. It is too high! First of all, I like watermelon but it is too much to eat up all by myself. I wonder if it is delicious.

eel

I ate boiled eel tonight for the first time in a year. It is "dog days of summer
" today in Japan, it's just the way we Japanese eat eel. I didn't like eel in my childhood because eel had many small bone. As I grew up, I became to be able to eat eel. I sometimes want to eat eel. However I don't love eel enough to go to eat to the restaurant so far. Finally, it's been a while since I ate eel last. I don't know when I eat eel next.

it's so hot!

I had gone to Hokkaido till yesterday. The summer in Hokkaido is cool, so I'd forgotten the boiling weather in Tokyo. On my way to my office after a week, I re-realized the fierce heat in Tokyo. It recorded a high of 35 degrees Celsius in this all morning. There were some people who came down with heat disorder today in Japan. I like summer but it is too hot to live these years.

typhoon

Today was the day I came home in Tokyo from Hokkaido! It had been a while since I went to Hokkaido for work. Although it is cool and nice to live in Hokkaido, I like my house after all. However the typhoon was approaching to Tokyo today. Fortunately my flight left for Tokyo on time. I expected to have a rough flight but the flight was nice and arrived at Haneda airport on time. I felt easy and got tired.

The last day in Hokkaido

My stay in Hokkaido is over today. I will leave for Tokyo tomorrow morning. It was so long. Next time I want to come here on a sightseeing trip. The summer in Hokkaido is beautiful. Many traveller visit Hokkaido in July and August. It seems that field of lavender in Furano is wonderful.

ASIMO

It was the 2nd day since the opening day of the science museum in Hokkaido. As expected, a lot of people visited the museum. The attendance figure was 10,700 people. Today and yesterday, ASIMO came to the museum. ASIMO is the biped walking robot made by HONDA. I have seen ASIMO for the first time. ASIMO is balancing with 1 leg in the photo uploaded. It was exiting that I could see live ASIMO!

opening day

Today was the opening day of the science museum. The larger-than-expected visitor came to the museum. It was a great success! We have no trouble even though the attendant was unfamilier to the system. Good job!

Restaurant with sheep

I went to a restaurant in Fukagawa with my fellow worker. The restaurant was next to the church, and a couple of newlyweds can take place wedding. I guess they can have the wedding reception at the restaurant. We have got a wonderful view from the restaurant. The restaurant grazed 3 sheep on the grass. Their name was "Maggy" and "Merry" and "Meg". We enjoyed dinner with 3 sheep.

Sunset

I am in Hokkaido now on business. Our company delivered the motion capture system to the museum of sceience in Hokkaido, so I came there to witness the celebration of opening the day after tomorrow and to teach to the atendants how to use the system. Today, we finished working earlier than usual. So we drived to the near city to have a dinner. We can see a beautiful sunset on the way to the restaurant. It is comfprtable to see the marvels of nature.

Science museum in Hokkaido

I came to Hokkaido to be present at the scene of the opening ceremony of a science museum. Our company deliverd a system to the museum. I am in charge of the technical support. Since we installed in March, we have had several troubles and cleared them. I hope everything would be OK until opening ceremony.

business trip

I have to go to Hokkaido for business trip tomorrow morning. I feel blue... I went to Hokkaido many times this year. I hope this trip would be the last trip for Hokkaido regarding this issue.

DVD

I saw two DVD movies today. The title are "DONNIE DARKO" and "Mulholland Drive". Both were the story in one's mind. I supposed that the end was the defference with those who see. Those were free in that way. Because I hadn't seen the movies recently, it was lot of fun.

air conditioner

I don't like an air conditioner. Because I become feeling dull if I forget to turn off the air conditioner and sleep carelessly. It is too humid and hot to stay without an air conditioner this season in Japan. It gets cold when I turn on the air conditioner but it gets hot when I turn off it. It is a difficult problem.

get a crick in my neck

I got a crick in my neck last Thursday. My neck has hurt for a week. Yoga must complicate the situation. I had a stiff neck very much. So I went to see a doctor to the university hospital near my home. I had an X-ray two straight days. The doctor said my neck was bent and I should undergo MRI testing. I wonder why X-ray and MRI is needed everytime. I wish my medical information could just be shared by all hospitals.

YOGA

Yoga is becoming popular in Japan. Some magazines have featured it.　One day I went to lunch with my co-workers at a restaurant near my office, I found the handbill which yoga lesson started every wednesday 4th floor at this building. So I and my boss went to lesson today. I found that abdominal breathing was the fundamentals of yoga. You have to breath in deeply through your nose before you pose somthing, and you exhale with posing something. I strech my whole body, from head to toe, after a longtime. It's pleasantly refreshed feeling! I will go on Wednesday when I have time.

medical check-up

I am going to have a medical check-up tomorrow. I hate to swallow barium. I feel depressed when I guess a medical check-up.
By the way, I was surprised to hear that my body height was 166cm last year because I recognized my body height was 164.5cm. Recently the physical size of young people becomes bigger. That's true but I am too tall to wear a pair of heeled sandals in Japan. I wonder if I go to live in somewhere...

gecko

I found a lot of geckoes on the white wall on my way home tonight. Gecko is a kind of lizards. The body color is white and they mostly lives in Asia. And they eat small insect. So I realized that they sticked to the white wall. Just the wall was bright around there. I supposed the insects gathered there. I hope the geckoes could get luxurious dinner tonight...

Kamakura

I and my boyfriend went to Kamakura to meet our friends. They live in Kamakura for a year. My friend's boyfriend is a surfer. So he moved away from city center to Kamakura. His house is in front of sea. He already had a sunburn this summer. We took it easy for a while drinking beer and wine at Vietnamese cafe. We promised to enjoy BBQ next time.

doodling

I have drunk until midnight yesterday. So I was slobing all day. sleep, sleep, drink, eat, reading, sleep, sleep...

Wedding Party

I went to my friend's wedding party this evening. They are neighbors. Live performances was played because he works in the music industry. First performance was a vocal like spiritual music. I thought I wanted to listen the music in the middle of a vast wilderness in the early morning. Second performance was blues. Even though the 2 players was young they had wistful voices. I heard they always played in the street. I was in charge of taking video. These live ferformances, the vows kiss and everyone's happy face were recorded in the video tape. I will edit the tape and present it for them in the near future.

concentrated heavy rain

I left for Tokyo this evening. But on my way to Ueno station because of concentrated heavy rain the train ran behaind schedule. I'm glad the train isn't stuck in the heavy rain. I got tired of long distance movement today. I'm off to bed. Good night!

business trip to Fukushima

I have to go to Fukushima on business trip from now. That's over for today because I have no time now and I don't bring a notebook pc with me. Bye.

titling

I suppose that my everyday life is mundane. The most difficult issue to keep this blog is to title. I have to find a little news in may humdrum. However I can tell that keeping this blog makes me observe my own life. It is nice because I can think my life isn't boring. My everyday life might also become exiting!?

makeinu

A few years ago, a book titled "makeinu no toboe" became a big hit in Japan. The meaning of the title is maybe "howl of a loser". The difinition of "loser" is a over 30-years-old woman who is a single in the book. The reading population is "loser", I guess. And I'm also a reader. Either the author or I don't feel negative being a makeinu. I have heard the kind of woman are increasing in the big city worldwide. "Bridget johnes's Diary" or "Sex and the City" are the typical favorite book for them.
The dorama series for makeinu started from today. I suppose I think so as I please. But I'm looking forward to watching this series because the same person who produce the dorama series I liked before produces them. The series will make me alive and will be a little fun for 3 months.

one-pot cooking

It was also rainy day today in Tokyo and humid but cool. So I ate one-pot cooking. We call one-pot cooking nabe in Japan. We have many kind of nabe in Japan. I like it because it's good and fuss-free. I suppose it is one of a simple and convenient menu when we have a party. Or it is good when you want to get rid of leftovers in your refrigerator. It is just to boil various foods. Today's nabe was "sliced pork nabe with vegitables". I ate them with ponzu sauce flavored yuzu. Yuzu is a citrus fruit. I wonder if yuzu is eaten all over the world or only in Japan. Anyway nabe is kill-two-birds-with-one-stone cooking because it is good and I can clean up leftovers!

Bargain sale

After I ate curry for lunch I went to shopping. Many shops hold bargain sale on all summer wear at this season in Japan. I bought a red T-shirt at the shop in Ginza. John Lennon was printed on the T-shirt. I love John Lennon. One of my best songs of John Lennon is "Love". So I decided to buy it because the text "Love is real" was printed. But the T-shirt was out of summer sale. I am a good customer for the shop and guess the shop considered me a easy prey.

Oh my gosh! I overslept!

I was going to see a dentist today.It was the time I would leave to the dentist when I got up this morning, though. So I called to the dentist and got changed the appointment to the next Friday. Curry and kimuchi(Korean pickles) is not good for a person who has gotten the orthodonic treatment because the dental corrective device stains easily with these food. I make a rule of eating curry the day before I go to see a dentist. Because if the device stains yellow or red, it is cleaned up at the dentist next day. I hadn't eat curry by yesterday in fact this month.(I have got the orthodonic treatment once a month.) I will eat curry tomorrow!
